Jeff Baxter grew up in Michigan, has lived in South Carolina and Indiana, but currently resides in beautiful Colorado.  With over eighteen years of youth and family ministry experience inside and outside the local church, Jeff brings veteran experience to the YMA team.  He has earned degrees from Hope College (B.A.), Columbia International University (M.Div. – pastoral leadership) and Fuller Theological Seminary (D.Min. – youth and family ministry).

Jeff has served on staff at churches of various denominations and attendance including a church with a weekly attendance of 8,000.  Jeff has written two books with Zondervan, The Ultimate Guide to Being a Christian in College: Don’t Forget to Pack Your Faithand Together: Adults and Teenagers Transforming the Church (Mark DeVries wrote the foreword).  With a passion for the next generation, Jeff has been a frequent church, camp, conference speaker including the National Youth Workers Convention (NYWC).

Jeff currently serves as an Associate Pastor at Foothills Bible Church in Littleton, Colorado with his beautiful bride of 17 years.  Jeff and Laurie have three wonderful children, Lillian, Levi and Lara.

In his free moments, Jeff sips on coffee at Starbucks, writes articles for YouthWorker Magazine, Salem Publishing, Journal of Student Ministries, Christian College Link and blogs at www.sacredoutfitter.blogspot.com and is an Associate Chaplain with the Colorado Rapids, an MLS professional soccer team.
