After 9 years of helping over 280 churches build sustainable youth and children’s ministries, Youth Ministry Architects is expanding its ministry work with a new division called Small Church Ministry Architects. This new focus makes the same service and DNA of Youth Ministry Architects and Children’s Ministry Architects available for smaller churches in appropriately-sized, affordable, and targeted ways.
It all happened quite naturally…
Pastors who had heard about the YMA process asked, “Could you do the same thing for a smaller church like mine?”
These pastors were asking for the same results-driven, highly relational process they had observed from other churches who had partnered with YMA and CMA. The question was whether the processes that had worked so predictably could be tailored for the specific needs of youth and children’s ministries in a smaller setting.
After adjusting the core YMA processes to fit for smaller churches, the YMA team has now led a number of small churches into many of the same sustainable results once considered only on option for larger churches. We’ve learned that when we work with smaller congregations (150 in worship or less), we can trim the number of listening sessions, modify the number of recommendations to make them more manageable, and often assess the children’s and youth ministries at the same time. All of this leads to cost savings that we’re able to pass along to the church.
This new division will be directed by the nationally recognized specialist in small church ministry, Stephanie Caro, author of several small church youth/children’s ministry resources (Thriving Youth Ministry in Smaller Churches and 99 Thoughts for Smaller Church Youth Workers) a popular trainer/speaker.
YMA will be launching Small Church Ministry Architects publicly as of February 1st, 2012. To learn more about the YMA/CMA process for smaller churches, please contact YMA or Stephanie Caro directly.
Dear Small Church Friends,
I’ve been where you’re at: small program-budget-numbers-resources. Honestly? Small church youth and children’s ministries have a lot of advantages…but sometimes they get stuck. I’d like to help you get moving forward again. Small Church Ministry Architects is the same great YMA service, just sized right!
